Bruder Klaus Kapelle by Peter Zumthor is so influential to me. I love the construction techniques he used to create an unprecedented structure that moves people spiritually.the interior has this amazing texture on the wall surface. The frame was made up of 112 converging tree trunks. these were surrounded by 24 layers of concrete. the trunks were lit on fire living a char wave texture.
